Amazing Recipies
Ok, I just had to post this. These are red velvet cupcakes and they are AMAZING! No joke, and there's a frosting too. This recipe makes 24 cupcakes.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
- 1 cup buttermilk, room temperature
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 2 tablespoons red food coloring
- 1 teaspoon white distilled vinegar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 1 pound cream cheese, softened
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups powdered sugar
Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Put the cupcake paper thingies into a cupcake pan. Mix all the cupcake stuff into a bowl, duh. When it's smooth enough, fill each cupcake paper about 2/3 full, and bake it for about 20-22 minutes. Cool for AT LEAST 5 minutes.
For the Cream Cheese Frosting:
Put all the ingredients into a large bowl and mix until its light and fluffy.
Spread the cream cheese frosting onto the cupcakes and decorate until its perdyy.
ENJOY
